Cast Iron Auto Parts Processing | S60

As a Japanese-funded enterprise, Shanghai Hirata Kiko Automation Equipment Co., Ltd. specializes in manufacturing automated production lines for the automotive industry. Its workshop is equipped with high-end precision machine tools, including Mitsubishi large five-face machining centers and Okuma CNC lathes, and mainly processes carbon steel welded structural components.

The factory previously used Mobil CUT232 cutting fluid. Due to inconsistent workpiece material batches, the original emulsion suffered from poor stability. Coupled with frequent shutdowns of large-scale equipment, the fluid deteriorated rapidly and created strong pungent odors throughout the workshop. Frequent fluid changes drove up overall expenditure on cutting fluid procurement and waste liquid disposal.

The factory fully switched to our S60 cutting fluid back in 2012. Built with a highly stable emulsification system, S60 works for both continuous and intermittent machining of carbon steel weldments. It effectively slows fluid degradation and eliminates harsh workshop odors. The fluid change cycle and total consumption have been significantly reduced, slashing combined costs for fluid purchasing and waste treatment. To this day, the company has appointed us as its long-term exclusive supplier for lubricants and cutting fluids.
