Hard Film Rust Preventative Oil E201

E201 is a refined product formulated with solid rust inhibitors, liquid rust inhibitors and non-toxic organic solvents. Its advanced formula delivers exceptional long-term rust protection for components exposed to harsh environments. Since pure mineral oil cannot prevent the penetration of corrosive media such as moisture, sulfur dioxide and hydrogen sulfide, various additives must be incorporated into the oil. Based on the composition of these additives, a neatly arranged and dense adsorption layer forms on the metal surface, effectively resisting the invasion or penetration of such media. E201 is a semi-dry hard film rust preventive that forms a protective film rapidly and exhibits excellent acid and alkali resistance. It is suitable for long-term storage and marine transportation of large machinery, parts and tools exposed to the atmosphere. With long-term rust prevention capabilities, it can be applied by dipping, coating, brushing or drum coating.

Application Methods
Dipping, brushing or spraying are available according to workpiece size; apply coating evenly to guarantee good appearance.
Prior to coating, workpieces must be thoroughly clean and dry without moisture or grease to secure optimal antirust performance.
This hard-film rust preventive tends to thicken via solvent evaporation; keep container tightly sealed when idle. Once thickened accidentally, dilute with solvent oil or thinner (amyl acetate solvent) before reuse to avoid sticky surface and poor finish.
