Lubricating Oil Type Rust Preventative RP 53

Solvent-based rust preventive oil RP 53 is an advanced, specialized soft film rust inhibitor. It provides long-term rust protection and delivers exceptional performance for rust prevention under long-term exposure to harsh environments. Since pure mineral oil cannot prevent the penetration of moisture, sulfur dioxide, hydrogen sulfide and other corrosive media, various additives must be incorporated into the oil. Based on the composition of these additives, a neatly arranged and dense adsorption layer is formed on the metal surface to effectively resist the invasion or penetration of such media. RP 53 is a semi-dry soft film rust preventive that forms a protective film rapidly and exhibits excellent acid and alkali resistance. It is suitable for long-term storage and marine transportation of large machinery, parts and tools exposed to the atmosphere. With long-term rust prevention capabilities, it can be applied by dipping, coating, brushing or drum coating.
