Physical Properties Appearance: Milky white liquid Specific Gravity (g/cm³): 0.980 – 1.050 pH Value: 9.5 – 10.5 Packaging: 200 kg per drum or 18 kg per drum Storage: SQ 786 can be stored for at least 12 months in its original sealed container at 5–30°C. Extended storage does not necessarily mean the product is no longer usable. However, in such cases, relevant product properties should be re-inspected to ensure quality. Store in a cool place, avoid direct sunlight or outdoor storage in winter.

Product Advantages

SQ 786 is a highly efficient water-based release agent for aluminum die casting and extrusion, specially formulated for low-speed high-pressure die casting processes. It offers excellent adhesion and release performance, a wide applicable temperature range, and can effectively improve the surface finish of finished products.
  • SQ 786 exhibits outstanding wettability even at extremely high mold temperatures, forming a uniform and consistent thin film on the mold surface.
  • It provides excellent thermal insulation, minimizing temperature fluctuations in the mold before and after spraying, effectively preserving the temperature of the molten aluminum in the mold cavity and preventing insufficient product filling caused by rapid cooling of the molten aluminum.
  • It boasts superior heat resistance and generates no harmful fumes or gases, helping to maintain clean air in the die casting workshop and reducing porosity in castings.
  • The product has excellent stability, with no secondary substance formation, good dispersibility, and no sedimentation. It is suitable for both manual and automatic spraying, effectively reducing clogging in pipelines and other components.

Instructions for Use

  • SQ 786 should be diluted with water at a ratio of 1:40 to 1:80 before use. The dilution ratio can be adjusted according to actual production requirements.
